Radiant barrier spray is actually a high-tech coating that was originally developed to make military vehicles invisible to heat-seeking missiles. A single, thin coat of radiant barrier insulation spray applied to the underside of your roof will block 75% of the sun’s radiant heat from entering your home. And in the winter, that same barrier will reflect back 75% of the heat that tries to escape from your house. You can expect a 10% reduction of your electric bill in the summer.

Unlike foil-covered substrates, radiant barrier spray can be applied in a matter of hours. It goes on evenly, with no gaps or holes. And because it is simply sprayed on, like ordinary house paint, it can easily be applied to existing roofs. Installation of this product cost around $1.00 sf of roof.
